'Koala Tea' Blog: Oh! An Anon sent me a message. They... They actually like my writing. Oh my god... Maybe I'll just post an open starter, that message made me feel really good and I actually feel like someone might respond this time.

Other Roleplayer: They just posted a starter... Should I answer? No, I'll just be bothering them...

'Koala Tea' Blog: No... That's disappointing. I won't make any opens any more. People don't answer... I should just ask someone to RP. Worst they can say is no. Oh, look at this blog! Look at this character! I really want to roleplay with them. I hope they have the time "Hi. Would you like to roleplay with me? I have a few ideas..."

Other Roleplayer: Oh, I got a message! Woah, they want to roleplay with me. "Really? I love your blog! I'm so excited."

'Koala Tea' Blog: Oh my goodness! They like my blog too? They're so good, I shouldn't have been nervous. I'm so excited about this plot, let me just go and write the starter.

Other Roleplayer: I need to work extra hard on my reply. No that doesn't sound right. Alright, let's do a few other replies first and come back to this when my muse is really with it...

The Moral Of This Story - Being afraid of someone will only set them apart and make them feel alone. Don't be shy. If you don't feel like you aren't good enough, write with people you see as better and even ask them for advice. Just don't hide from them. This is meant to be fun. And it's never any fun being ignored.
