“Fishing and berries do not make me smart. They are just things I learned back home. I’m not going to kill you.” He shook his head, letting out a soft sigh. She was being way too difficult about this, but it was…within the realm of possibility. No food, hot sun, no knowledge of where they were would make anyone frustrated. “It’s not pity. It’s…I hate fish and I caught a lot of them.”
“It makes you smarter than me, a lot smarter.. If you hate fish why did you catch so much? Fine, I’ll eat some of your damn fish, but I don’t know why you want me to eat so badly.” Malia sighed before walking over to the male and sitting in front of him. She wasn’t sure why he cared, he barely knew her and in all honestly she wasn’t exactly the nicest to him. She just didn’t want to place her trust in the wrong person.
